Background animations…

Just been playing with a new jquery plugin for animating background-positions in HTML – with great javascript tools like this, you start to think.. ‘why do we need html5?’! Expect to see more of this very soon.. maybe here :) In fact html5 is almost meaningless to me at the moment, as my main role involves a website that sees 25% of it’s visitors using ie6. The joys of working with big corporates and the public sector..

Brilliant explanation of REST to the non-technically minded!

Just read this post on REST architecture (the stuff that runs the web) and I think It’s fantastic. If you’re a web designer getting in to more complex ground and looking at building increased functionality in to your sites with web-services, or perhaps looking at developing web-applications, then I recommend you read the above – it certainly helped me!

Inbound Leads: Troubleshooting bad performance
