Just been playing with a new jquery plugin for animating background-positions in HTML – with great javascript tools like this, you start to think.. ‘why do we need html5?’! Expect to see more of this very soon.. maybe here In fact html5 is almost meaningless to me at the moment, as my main role involves a website that sees 25% of it’s visitors using ie6. Just read this post on REST architecture (the stuff that runs the web) and I think It’s fantastic. If you’re a web designer getting in to more complex ground and looking at building increased functionality in to your sites with web-services, or perhaps looking at developing web-applications, then I recommend you read the above – it certainly helped me!
